Wells City Harriers have a long tradition of organising various races and events across the area and we have helped various other community groups to ensure that their events are organised to a good standard.

Our main flagship event is the Clive & Angela Thomas Street 5k Road Race Series, and accompanying 1k and 2k junior races held on the second Wednesday of every month between October and March.

We also assist the following races which are organised by separate communities/committees to raise money for local causes; Babcary road race; Butleigh Multi-terrain race; Wells Fun Runs; Baltonsborough road race; and in addition we nominate a number of our races to be part of the Somerset Race Series. The entry details and forms for the various races are usually linked from this webpage, but any enquiries should be made direct to the race committees/organisers.

The Street Series is back in October 2018 and it will be the 30th year of the Series. In 2017-18, the 29th Series saw Tom & Dylan Dukes finishing joint top for the men with Helen Southcott top for the women. The entry form is below. Any enquiries prior to the Series starting should be directed to the Series Director Ed Tickner (01749 812449). Reports and results from all races this year will be added as the Series progresses. Reports from last year, including the junior races, can also be seen
