Wells City Harriers

"A FRIENDLY RUNNING CLUB THAT WELCOMES ATHLETES OF ALL AGES AND ABILITIES"

A number of Wells City Harriers made themselves available for selection at the Inter-Counties Cross Country Championships held at Loughborough this past Saturday (10th March 2018). They were all competing for the combined Avon & Somerset team, and there were some terrific performances in the heavy mud! Best individual position was by u13 Hannah Blundy.

Our reporter Kate advises that “the course was Very muddy, so hard going but dry and not windy or cold, so apart from the mud good conditions!” Another who was there commented that the course became more glutinous over the day as successive races churned the mud up....
