There was some great running by Wells City Harriers at the English National Cross Country Championships on Saturday February 19th, held at Alton Towers. Top 20 positions were achieved by u13b Sam Sommerville (9th out of 327), Snr Woman Laura Parker (14th out of 552) and u15b Matthew Dickinson (17th out of 326). Anna Lewis was a great 103rd in the senior womens. Tim Hawkins (333rd) was first man in for the Harriers inthe senior mens event with Jon Rowe (426th) not far back flying the Harrier flag in a huge field of 1302 competitors.
