Fun in Athletics for ages 8-10

Training to train and compete for ages 11-17  - to maintain your place in the squads you should be prepared to compete for the Club at least once a month.

We try and cover all track & field athletic events and cross-country training but the offer is dependent upon the number of voluntary coaches available.

Full coaches (Level 2): Graham Goldsmid, Paul Chadwick & Al Thorner

Asst coaches (Level 1)  Lawrence Whitehead, Chris Collier, Tom Dukes, Duncan Verel & Oli Harras

Coaching co-ordinator: Paul Chadwick

Registration: Graham Goldsmid

We are always looking to recruit new coaches as the current coaches between them have put in almost 50 years (!) of coaching and we need some new blood. Please speak to Paul if you want to know more about how to get involved in coaching.

Parents are encouraged to stay and watch or to help at the sessions (e.g raking the long jump pit; helping to record shot put distances etc). Photo below of one of the Monday juniors, Tom, in action at the County Championships by Al
